Baldoyle to get Primary Care Centre

according to Sean Kenny TD
“This site (off the Grange Road) is within the area which is currently under the consideration of Fingal County Council in the development of a Local Area Plan (LAP). Following publication of the LAP all outstanding PCC issues and timescales will be finalised.” more

I do not recall Baldoyle being on the controversial list of areas earmarked for a PCC. Previously the Minister was under fire for selecting sites in Dublin Fingal (his own constituency) and later the Labour Jnr. Minister resigned over the matter.

magnetometry survey @ Seagrange Green

A strange Contraption was spotted today on Seagrange Green by many Baldoyle locals. The Contraption, resembling a mix between Molly Malone’s famous cart and the Mars Rover, was in fact a high tech piece of survey equipment.

This was a part of a magnetometry survey undertaken by the Grassroots Archaeology Project which is a homegrown, community based initiative
which seeks to combine professional expertise and local support to unearth the story of a forgotten monument.
